Account Executive, Defence & Intelligence, France

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aerospace technology client seeking an Account Executive, Defence & Intelligence, France to join their global sales organization. This is a remote position based in France, focused on expanding our client's government business within French defence and military sectors.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve or exceed revenue targets within French defence and military organizations
• Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close medium to large-scale deals with government customers
• Navigate complex government procurement processes and frameworks specific to French defence acquisition
• Collaborate closely with solution engineering teams to design tailored solutions that address customer operational requirements
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution and customer onboarding
• Maintain pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting using Salesforce.com
• Work strategically with marketing to develop campaigns that generate qualified opportunities
• Create compelling, customer-specific presentations and proposals
• Partner with customer success teams to ensure smooth transitions for new customers
• Collaborate with the global defence and intelligence sales leadership team

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 6+ years of experience selling software solutions and SaaS products
• 6+ years of proven success selling to government customers, with deep understanding of government sales cycles
• Track record of winning business within French defence organizations, particularly the Ministère des Armées and Armées Françaises
• Deep understanding of military operations, planning, and intelligence requirements supporting military commanders
• Excellent relationships across French defence agencies and the partner ecosystem
• Ability to satisfy French nationality requirements and hold a Security Clearance
• Fluent/native French speaker with excellent communication skills
• Self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and decision-making skills
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems

Preferred qualifications:

• Additional language capabilities
• Existing security clearance at appropriate level
• Active Armed Forces Reserve status or veteran background in intelligence
