Staff Product Manager – German Speaking – Managed Detection and Incident Response (m/f/x)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential cybersecurity organization in their search for a Staff Product Manager specializing in Managed Detection and Incident Response. This is a hybrid role based in Berlin, requiring fluency in both English and German (C2 level).

Our client is a rapidly scaling European cybersecurity provider that combines advanced technology with hands-on security expertise. They serve organizations across Europe with detection, response, and recovery capabilities. This role offers full strategic ownership of a mission-critical product area within a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and communicate the long-term product vision and strategy for MDR, EDR, and IR capabilities
• Define strategic priorities, influence company objectives, and drive cross-functional alignment around product direction
• Define and own the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with market opportunity and customer needs
• Lead discovery practices to deeply understand customer problems and pain points
• Lead and mentor product managers and junior team members across the organization
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Design, Security Operations, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales teams
• Partner with Product Marketing to define go-to-market strategies, product launches, and market positioning
• Manage external relationships and partnerships, particularly with EDR vendors and MDR technology providers
• Stay current on cybersecurity trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices
• Champion agile methodologies, data-driven execution, and continuous experimentation

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 7+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 4 years in senior or staff-level roles
• End-to-end delivery experience with software products in B2B SaaS or similar environments
• Deep cybersecurity domain expertise, particularly in Managed Detection & Response (MDR), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and Incident Response (IR)
• Proven track record delivering complex software products in fast-paced environments using product discovery, data-driven decision making, and agile methodologies
• Strong business acumen including go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and revenue impact
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to present to technical, commercial, and executive audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with comfort in ambiguity
• Fluent English and German (C2 level) required

Preferred:

• Startup or scale-up background at a high-growth company
• Experience building or scaling product management teams and processes
• Exposure to OKR-driven product development and metrics-focused product management
• Experience with MSP or partner-led go-to-market models
• Track record of successful product pivots or strategic repositioning
