Staff Product Marketing Manager – German Speaking – Cybersecurity (m/f/x)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing cybersecurity organization in their search for a Staff Product Marketing Manager – German Speaking to join their team in Berlin on a hybrid basis.

Our client is a well-funded European company delivering managed detection and response solutions with embedded insurance capabilities. With operations across multiple countries and a team of nearly 200 professionals, they're building enterprise-grade security that's accessible to organizations of all sizes.

This is a senior individual contributor role where you'll own product marketing strategy for their MDR/XDR portfolio while mentoring the existing marketing team. You'll bridge Product, Sales, and Commercial functions—translating complex cybersecurity capabilities into compelling value propositions and driving go-to-market execution that resonates with buyers.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve positioning and value propositions for cybersecurity offerings that resonate with technical and business audiences
• Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies for product launches and service updates in partnership with Product, Sales, and Engineering
• Equip sales and pre-sales teams with enablement materials including pitch decks, battlecards, objection handling guides, and product demonstrations
• Build and maintain competitive intelligence to sharpen positioning and inform product roadmap decisions
• Define and oversee content strategy supporting thought leadership, demand generation, and customer education
• Serve as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure cross-functional alignment
• Apply deep cybersecurity knowledge to inform all aspects of messaging, positioning, and strategic planning

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Product Marketing with proven cybersecurity domain expertise
• Demonstrated ability to define product messaging, execute go-to-market strategies, and enable sales teams in complex B2B SaaS environments
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity market dynamics, customer pain points, and competitive positioning (MDR, EDR, IR, threat landscape)
• Strategic and analytical mindset with bias for action and high agency
• Proven track record leading and mentoring high-performing team members
• Fluent English and German (C2 level required)

• Startup or scale-up experience at a high-growth company
• Experience with positioning frameworks and go-to-market methodologies
• Track record of successful product launches or market repositioning initiatives
• Prior experience in vendor-led or partner-enabled go-to-market models
