Endear – Product Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential retail technology company seeking a Product Designer to join their in-store experience team. This is a remote, full-time position based in the United States. Our client builds customer relationship tools for retail teams, working with well-known apparel and lifestyle brands.

You'll own the design of in-store features including appointments, events, customer check-ins, and administrative workflows. This role involves designing for both frontline store associates and the managers who configure their systems. Many features are early-stage or not yet built, so you'll define problems through research before creating solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own features from discovery through production-ready design, including research, testing, and iteration
• Conduct user research from early discovery through usability testing with store associates, managers, and administrative users
• Design complete, accessible product experiences accounting for loading, empty, error, permission, and edge-case states
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape solutions early in development
• Use customer insight and behavioral data to inform design decisions
• Deliver product experiences that improve how retail teams manage clienteling and in-store workflows
• Build a strong rhythm of discovery, testing, and continuous learning
• Demonstrate measurable user and business impact through shipped work

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 2–5 years in product design
• Independently owning features from discovery through implementation
• Running user research from discovery through usability testing
• Translating ambiguous problems into clear product solutions
• Designing complex, accessible workflows with complete state coverage
• Working within established design patterns while recognizing when evolution is needed
• Using qualitative and quantitative data to guide design decisions
• Collaborating closely with Design, Product, and Engineering teams
• Using AI tools as part of your workflow with sound judgment
• Portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, execution, and measurable impact

The Team: You'll report to the Head of Product Design and work closely with a Product Manager and 2–3 Engineers. The design team is three people total, each dedicated to a specific product area. You'll receive mentorship, education budget support, and guidance on AI processes. The full team meets for standup Mondays at 8:00 AM Pacific.

No retail or e-commerce background is required. The client values product thinking, problem-solving approach, and motivation over perfect resumes.

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $100,000–$129,000 base salary. This is a full-time employee position. The client offers comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, vision), co-working or home office stipend, flexible PTO and unlimited vacation, and education and learning support.

Location: Remote, US-based. Availability required for Monday 8:00 AM Pacific standup.
