(Senior) Key Account Manager – UK Market

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consumer goods organization seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to lead their UK retail strategy. In this role, you will:

• Take full ownership of UK account performance, driving sales, revenue, and margin targets
• Develop and execute tailored joint-business plans with major retail partners, aligned with company objectives
• Build and expand long-term relationships with key UK retailers, ensuring sustainable growth and high satisfaction
• Identify, pursue, and successfully onboard new strategic retail partners in alignment with UK expansion plans
• Collaborate across Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and Trade Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution
• Provide actionable market intelligence on UK consumer and retail trends to inform commercial strategy
• Drive process improvements and maintain excellence in forecasting, promotional analysis, and performance reporting
• Partner with a high-performing team to share best practices and achieve collective success

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in Key Account Management with major UK grocery retailers in the FMCG/CPG sector; beverage category experience is a plus
• Deep understanding of the UK offline retail landscape and key account dynamics
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a results-oriented, commercial mindset
• Strategic and entrepreneurial approach with ability to drive cross-functional initiatives
• Strong analytical and presentation capabilities; proficiency in using data to inform decisions and deliver compelling insights
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional European languages are advantageous
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly to the UK
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from Germany (relocation support available if needed)
