About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential logistics technology company in their search for a Working Student in Marketing & Communications. This role is based in Frankfurt am Main and available immediately. Our client is a fast-growing organization working to digitalize rail freight operations through innovative software solutions.

As part of a lean marketing team, you'll own real projects from concept to execution—creating content for LinkedIn, supporting industry events, designing marketing materials, and managing communications channels. This isn't coffee-making work: you'll see your campaigns go live and receive regular feedback in a fast-paced, AI-forward environment.

Responsibilities

• Create content for LinkedIn including copywriting, visuals, and short animated videos
• Support organization and execution of industry fair presence and internal/external events
• Design branding and marketing materials aligned with corporate identity guidelines
• Conduct market and competitor research within the rail and logistics sector, preparing findings for the team
• Manage monthly newsletter production and maintain CRM system data
• Support press relations and external communications activities
• Develop original campaign concepts and take ownership of implementation

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field
• Interest in rail freight and logistics (no prior industry knowledge required)
• Initial experience in marketing, communications, or PR through internships or working-student roles preferred but not mandatory
• Self-starter who develops ideas independently and takes ownership
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both German and English
• Confident with Microsoft Office and social media platforms
• Experience with tools such as Canva, Vimeo, Jira, and Confluence is a plus
• Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, GPT) including prompting techniques; HubSpot knowledge advantageous
• Proactive team player comfortable in dynamic environments
