Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will develop fault-tolerant, reliable cloud services including infrastructure components, managed databases, container orchestration platforms, billing systems, monitoring solutions, and machine learning services. Your work will focus primarily on Golang, with additional opportunities in Java and Python as the platform scales.

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Excellent knowledge of Golang, or the ability and willingness to quickly transition to this programming language
• Proven ability to write reliable, maintainable code and troubleshoot complex technical problems
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience designing and implementing high-load, scalable distributed services
