Core Faculty – Full-time Nursing (FNP)

We are representing a confidential health sciences institution seeking a Full-time Core Faculty member for their graduate nursing programs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of nurse practitioners through innovative online education and clinical mentorship. Responsibilities

As Core Faculty, you will:

• Teach three to four assigned courses per trimester in Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nurse Practice programs, with primary focus on Family Nurse Practitioner and/or Psychiatric Mental Health specialty courses
• Deliver effective online instruction using learning management systems and digital resources, providing timely, thoughtful feedback to students
• Supervise scholarly projects and practicum experiences for graduate nursing students
• Participate in residency experiences as assigned, which may require travel
• Establish and implement an approved scholarship plan that includes research, publications, and presentations at professional conferences (minimum one per year)
• Serve on two to three programmatic and university committees
• Perform course coordinator and lead instructor roles as assigned
• Advise students on academic and professional development while maintaining appropriate referrals
• Maintain clinical currency and evidence-based practice expertise in your content area
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and curriculum development
• Complete annual self-evaluations and engage in ongoing faculty development

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Terminal degree in nursing (PhD or DNP) from an accredited institution
• Active, unencumbered RN license in home state and eligible for licensure in all 50 states
• Current national certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• APRN license in home state and willingness to obtain licenses in states where students reside, if required
• Demonstrated record of intellectual and professional contributions to nursing, including practice and education experience
• Teaching experience required; doctoral-level teaching preferred
• Experience teaching advanced practice nursing, especially in the PMHNP role, if assigned to PMHNP coursework

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with distance learning and online education delivery
• Record of scholarship including publications and conference presentations
• Proficiency with learning management systems and Microsoft Office

Pay

Compensation is determined by academic rank based on teaching experience, scholarship, publications, and committee work. Pay ranges are:

• Affiliated/Instructor rank: $59,758 - $100,394
• Assistant Professor rank: $68,722 - $115,400
• Associate Professor rank: $79,030 - $132,710
• Professor rank: $88,923 - $152,617
