Founding GTM Engineer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential B2B SaaS client in Berlin seeking their first GTM Engineer. You will be establishing revenue operations as a core discipline and building a scalable revenue engine from the foundation up. Pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue efficiency will be your key metrics.

The infrastructure baseline exists—HubSpot as CRM, proprietary deal-scoring tools, call intelligence platforms, and organization-wide AI access—but the operational layers beneath need to be architected: reliable data structures, automated workflows, rigorous forecasting systems, and AI-powered processes.

This is a high-autonomy individual contributor role with direct founder access and the mandate to reshape how the revenue organization operates.

Day-to-day you will:

• Establish data foundation integrity: CRM hygiene protocols, field governance, deduplication systems, automated enrichment
• Automate the revenue process: lead routing logic, SLA enforcement, stage progression criteria, seamless cross-functional handoffs
• Build the pipeline generation stack: ICP scoring, enrichment orchestration, signal-based outbound workflows that prioritize conversations over list assembly
• Integrate AI into operational workflows: call intelligence automation, research agents, health and churn prediction models
• Deliver accurate weekly forecasting and reporting that leadership can act on with confidence
• Drive adoption of everything you build: instrument usage, train revenue teams, iterate based on feedback

What We're Looking For

Must-have qualifications:

• Hands-on experience architecting a CRM platform like HubSpot from scratch—designing object models, property structures, and data architecture, not just administering existing setups
• Production experience with outbound and enrichment platforms (Clay or equivalent tools)
• Demonstrable work building with AI and LLMs in production environments—prompt engineering, agent design, or AI-driven workflows
• Strong data rigor: ability to analyze funnels, identify data quality issues, and quantify the business impact of operational improvements before implementation
• Systems thinking mindset—you design for sequencing and sustainability, not quick fixes, and can defend architectural decisions under scrutiny

Nice-to-have experience:

• Early GTM-Ops or RevOps hire experience at a startup
• Familiarity with call intelligence tools and sales intelligence platforms
• Understanding of unit economics (CAC, ACV, payback periods)
• Experience supporting mid-market, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles
