Business Insurance Account Executive

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Account Executive. This role is central to a strategic pilot initiative designed to evolve how business insurance is delivered to small business customers. You'll act as a licensed broker, providing expert guidance on P&C policies while supporting the development of AI-powered insurance advisory tools.

This is a remote opportunity available from anywhere in the world, with some locations operating on a hybrid schedule depending on proximity to office hubs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing small business clients to assess complex P&C insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
• Quote and issue Property & Casualty policies through carrier partnerships in an offline sales channel
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity targets and production goals
• Provide expert support for AI insurance advisor workflows, assisting customers with complex needs that require human intervention
• Manage client relationships including policy renewals, endorsements, and policy changes
• Serve as liaison between clients and carriers, including assistance with loss reports and claims settlement
• Cross-sell and up-sell additional P&C coverage lines to maximize customer protection and revenue
• Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation within CRM systems
• Integrate AI-powered tools into daily workflows, identifying friction points and collaborating with teams to optimize processes
• Stay current on industry trends, products, regulations, and underwriting guidelines to ensure compliance and deliver accurate advice

What We're Looking For

• Required: Active Property & Casualty insurance producer's license
• Experience: 4+ years of proven experience in insurance sales or brokerage with strong knowledge of commercial P&C products including Workers' Compensation, BOP, Commercial Auto, and E&O
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and build strong client rapport
• Sales Ability: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with strong negotiation skills
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of carrier quoting systems, insurance software, and CRM platforms like Salesforce
• AI Fluency: Day-to-day experience using AI tools for writing, research, preparation, and summarization, with a history of providing actionable feedback to improve tools and workflows
• Customer Focus: Genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and empathy for small business owners
• Mindset: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and entrepreneurial with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
• Adaptability: Comfort with automation and AI-driven processes to enhance productivity and decision-making
