Director – LIMS Strategy – CPG & F&B

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Director of LIMS Strategy to drive market expansion across the Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Chemical Ingredients sectors. This is a high-impact, remote position based in the United States where you'll architect commercial strategy, enable sales teams, and establish thought leadership in laboratory informatics.

In this role, you'll serve as the bridge between sales, marketing, product, and services teams—translating market needs into actionable strategies while personally engaging with customers and prospects. You'll work at the intersection of deep technical expertise and commercial execution, pivoting seamlessly from strategic planning to hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own market penetration strategy and growth initiatives for LIMS products across target FMCG and supply chain sectors
• Lead customer discovery sessions, workshops, and executive presentations to uncover pain points and co-create solutions
• Support sales teams in deal strategy, pricing proposals, and building business cases that accelerate the sales cycle
• Conduct competitive analysis and develop tactical materials to position our client's solution effectively in the market
• Provide strategic input to product teams on roadmap priorities and feature enhancements for laboratory informatics software
• Serve as an industry evangelist through conference presentations, webinars, and authored content in industry publications
• Coordinate resources across the entire customer journey from initial sales through delivery and beyond
• Enable field-facing teams with strategic direction, messaging, and training on LIMS capabilities
• Build and maintain relationships with communities of practice, stakeholders, and strategic partners
• Travel up to 40% for customer meetings and industry events

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience growing and scaling technology offerings at a laboratory informatics software vendor or consulting firm
• Proven track record working with Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), supply chain companies, or related industries
• Demonstrated ability to engage in strategic conversations with Heads of Quality, QC, and IT leaders regarding software modernization
• Executive presence with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and compelling presentations to any audience
• Strong track record of innovation across complex business processes and technical solutions
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter mentality with the drive to work independently and take initiative
• Detail-oriented execution excellence with a strong "want to win" attitude
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry experience in Quality Control (QC), GxP quality content, training management, quality systems, or manufacturing
• Background leading or guiding global sales teams pursuing complex enterprise opportunities
• Experience establishing and maintaining trusted partnerships with C-suite and executive stakeholders
• Published thought leadership, whitepapers, or articles within the laboratory informatics domain
