Werkstudent*in Public Sector – KI Strategie & Innovation

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI consulting organization based in Berlin. They work at the intersection of machine learning strategy and public sector innovation, supporting government agencies, healthcare institutions, and administrative bodies across EU, federal, and state levels. We're seeking a working student to help build out their public sector business development function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in AI strategy, public administration, and business development to gain hands-on experience in a growing field.

Responsibilities

• Support the public sector team in building a successful business unit through diverse strategic tasks
• Research and identify innovation opportunities at the intersection of AI and public sector needs across EU, federal, and state government levels
• Assist in client engagement with public sector stakeholders, including preparation for and participation in meetings
• Collaborate with technical teams on AI project concepts and proposals
• Contribute to opportunity identification and business development initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a business or technical degree program with at least 3 semesters remaining
• Available for minimum 16 hours per week
• German language skills at C1 level or higher (required)
• Professional English proficiency for internal communication
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in client-facing work
• Strong independent work ethic, structured approach, and quick learner
• Interest in technology and its practical applications
• Based in or near Berlin (preferred)
• Prior experience with public administration stakeholders through internships or studies (plus)
• Background in business development or entrepreneurial initiatives (plus)
