About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing hospitality technology company with a global footprint across more than 150 countries. Our client seeks a Sales Director for the Australia and New Zealand markets—a hunter role focused on acquiring new mid-market hotel clients and driving substantial revenue growth. This is a fully remote position for candidates based in Australia or New Zealand.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a sales strategy targeting independent hotels and hotel groups across Australia and New Zealand
  • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities to expand market presence and drive annual recurring revenue
  • Deliver on sales forecasts and meet ambitious growth targets
  • Conduct compelling virtual client presentations that clearly communicate product value and ROI
  • Represent the organization at major industry events, serving as a brand ambassador and networking with potential clients and industry influencers
  • Provide field insights to sales leadership, product, and marketing teams to inform strategy
  • Cultivate strong post-sale relationships that generate client satisfaction and fuel referrals
  • Build and manage your own pipeline independently, without relying on dedicated lead generation support

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a top-performing sales professional with a highly consultative approach
  • Deep understanding of the mid-market hotel ecosystem with a proven track record selling to independent hotels and groups
  • Strong expertise in hospitality technology solutions
  • Demonstrated success driving ARR growth in similar markets
  • Proven ability to build pipelines independently without BDR/SDR support
  • Expertise in Salesforce CRM and experience with long-term pipeline management
  • Strong business acumen and exceptional negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and active listening abilities

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of property management system (PMS) technology
  • Multilingual capabilities
  • Direct experience working in the hospitality or lodging industry
