Senior Director, Talent Acquisition

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organisation in their search for a Senior Director, Talent Acquisition to lead the global recruiting function and deliver scalable, high-impact hiring outcomes. This senior leader will partner with business executives and HR stakeholders to align workforce planning and talent strategy with organisational growth objectives.

In this role, you will:

• Lead global talent acquisition strategy, delivery, team performance, technology adoption, and achievement of hiring goals across a broad portfolio
• Partner with senior business leaders, HR business partners, and budget stakeholders to align workforce plans and hiring priorities using market intelligence and talent data
• Lead the implementation and optimisation of Workday Recruiting and related workflows, ensuring scalable and efficient processes
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment execution from requisition creation through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff
• Define and evolve AI-enabled sourcing and recruiting strategies leveraging automation, talent intelligence platforms, and predictive insights to strengthen pipelines and improve speed to hire
• Drive recruiting effectiveness through process standardisation, workflow redesign, ATS optimisation, and continuous improvement
• Evaluate and implement emerging recruiting technologies, including AI tools supporting sourcing, screening, scheduling, and reporting
• Establish and track key metrics including time to fill, funnel health, recruiter capacity, candidate experience, hiring manager satisfaction, and quality of hire
• Establish standards for responsible and ethical use of AI in hiring, with attention to fairness, transparency, compliance, and data quality
• Lead change management efforts for recruiting transformation, ensuring stakeholder alignment, user adoption, and operational readiness
• Coach and develop recruiters and talent acquisition leaders in consultative partnership, data literacy, AI fluency, and modern recruiting practices

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience leading talent acquisition across a broad team or function, with accountability for hiring delivery, capability building, and performance
• Strong leadership and business partnering skills, with ability to work with senior business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including requisition creation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding
• Demonstrated experience leading implementation or transformation of recruiting technology, ideally including Workday Recruiting or comparable enterprise ATS
• Experience evaluating and implementing AI solutions and recruiting technologies that improve efficiency and quality without compromising candidate experience or compliance
• Demonstrated experience using AI-enabled recruiting tools, automation, and talent data to improve sourcing effectiveness, productivity, and hiring outcomes
• Strong market awareness and strategic judgement to guide sourcing strategy and support informed hiring decisions in competitive environments
• Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, including structured screening, inclusive interviewing, and high-quality candidate experience
• Strong analytical capability with experience defining success metrics and using data to drive continuous improvement
• Experience leading change management, process redesign, stakeholder adoption, and operational enablement
• Understanding of responsible AI principles and ability to balance innovation with sound judgement, compliance, and equitable hiring practices
• Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and operational discipline

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Workday Recruiting and related tools, including implementation support, reporting, workflow optimisation, and user adoption
