IT-Systemadministrator (m/w/d) – Windows Server

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage and evolve their Windows Server infrastructure. In this role, you will:

• Maintain and develop the internal server environment based on Windows Server 2022 and Hyper-V
• Design and implement Active Directory structures, Hyper-V environments, group policies, and file/print servers
• Take ownership of Windows environment hardening, patch management, and access control frameworks
• Lead technical implementation in IT projects, collaborating closely with the IT team and project management
• Document your work using project management tools and maintain clear technical communication
• Ensure IT security standards and maintain robust backup and recovery processes

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone with solid hands-on experience in Windows Server environments. You should bring:

• Proven expertise in designing, building, and administering Windows Server infrastructures
• Practical experience with hybrid scenarios (Azure/Entra ID) and solid IT infrastructure knowledge (networking, backup)
• Completed IT training as a Fachinformatiker for system integration, IT system electronics specialist, or comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
• Structured, goal-oriented working style with the ability to manage complex tasks
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities
• German language proficiency at C1 level

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience administering telecommunications solutions (Mitel or unified communications systems)
• Solid knowledge of switching, routing, firewalls, and VLANs
• Background in backup and recovery solutions
