Junior Digital Designer für Social Content (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential marketing agency seeking a Junior Digital Designer for Social Content to join their creative team in Oberursel. In this role, you will design social-first content that makes brands visible with clarity, speed, and quality across multiple platforms.

Your day-to-day work includes:

• Creating and adapting social-first assets including feed posts, carousels, stories, LinkedIn creatives, and digital campaign components
• Translating campaign key visuals and messaging into platform-appropriate formats that perform
• Developing format modules and series components for consistent, recognizable output
• Researching trends and formats with quick summaries on how they could work for clients
• Preparing proactive recommendations for client presentations, including formats, content approaches, and creative tests
• Collaborating closely with consulting, copywriting, creative, photo studio, and performance marketing teams from briefing through delivery
• Ensuring quality control including mobile readability, format checks, safe areas, variants, and final delivery

Important: This is not a community management or scheduling role. You will be part of the creative team with a focus on design, social formats, and translating trends into branded content.

What We're Looking For

• Completed education or degree in design, communication, media design, or comparable qualification—or a portfolio that demonstrates your abilities
• Initial experience in an agency, studio, or in-house team; internship or working student experience counts, ideally with digital content and social assets
• Strong sense for layout, typography, visual language, and brand consistency, even under time pressure
• Solid understanding of social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn—formats, trends, hook mechanics, readability, and safe areas
• Proficient with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Structured, reliable working style with attention to versioning, clean handoffs, and quality checks before delivery
• Enthusiasm for translating trends into brand-appropriate ideas and assets, not just consuming them
• Strong communication and team skills; able to explain ideas concisely and implement feedback quickly
• Experience with AI tools and interest in using them to support creative workflows for ideation, text, and variant generation
• Very good German language skills; English proficiency is a plus
