Part-time Certified Financial Planner

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization that provides workplace financial wellbeing solutions. We're seeking a part-time Certified Financial Planner® to join their growing remote team. In this role, you'll work directly with employees across the country to deliver unbiased, holistic financial guidance through a digital-first platform.

This is a 100% remote position within the United States, with flexible scheduling between 8 AM and 11 PM ET Monday through Friday. The typical expectation is 5-15 hours per week, though this is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote consultations via video, chat, and email to provide guidance on budgeting, student loans, retirement readiness, equity compensation, debt management, and related topics
• Deliver personalized financial planning advice tailored to individual client circumstances and goals
• Participate in monthly team meetings and contribute subject matter expertise to enhance the digital planning experience
• Become knowledgeable about client benefit plans to support employees during open enrollment periods
• Maintain availability across various shifts to accommodate client scheduling needs
• Execute multiple concurrent tasks while prioritizing effectively and taking direction from team leadership

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Active CFP® designation
• Passion for financial education and empowering individuals to achieve financial wellness
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize workload
• Demonstrated initiative and execution capabilities
• Broad experience across personal finance areas including retirement planning, equity compensation, investments, budgeting, debt management, student loans, cash flow planning, estate planning, and insurance
• Strong communication skills for remote client engagement

Preferred:

• CPA, Enrolled Agent, or similar credentials
• Credit Counseling certification
• Startup or fintech industry experience
• Bilingual capability (Spanish)
• Experience creating and delivering presentations to large audiences
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and Saturdays
• Ability to travel occasionally for on-site events
