Influence Account Director

We are representing a confidential marketing agency in their search for an Influence Account Director to join their PR & Influence team in London on a hybrid basis. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time opportunity reporting to a Business Director.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of influencer campaigns, supporting managers and executives from identification through creative, implementation, and reporting
• Design and define industry-leading influencer strategy: recommend objectives, targets, action plans, calendars, and budgets
• Align and collaborate with media, PR, social, brand activation, digital, and all other stakeholders – internal and external – to deliver best-in-class campaigns
• Nurture client-appropriate talent opportunities and relationships to help deliver the influencer programme
• Lead and deliver creative content solutions to internal stakeholders and clients
• Oversee day-to-day activations and provide oversight and counsel for junior support teams
• Provide senior counsel to clients, advising on industry developments as they occur and showing relevance on the ground
• Stay up-to-date with cultural and social trends and customers' views and attitudes
• Assist in developing and promoting the influencer offering across the business, including writing thought leadership and attending industry events
• Lead additional projects as required – such as new business pitches, market reviews, and competitive trends
• Lead and inspire a team, acting as a role model and source of advice and guidance for direct reports
• Build trusted relationships with mid-level clients based on a proven track record of delivery
• Provide strong communication skills and senior counsel to clients on industry developments

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Influence Account Director or similar role
• Strong understanding of influence strategy and experience managing large multi-market campaigns
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to create highly effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
• Ability to confidently lead influence conversations and problem-solve in the moment as required; act as a point of escalation for junior clients
• Solid understanding of the strategic and business context clients operate in, and ability to use this knowledge to develop solutions
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work confidently with other capabilities and crafts in service of finding the best integrated influence creative solution
• Ability to demonstrate creative problem-solving in every task – whether improving internal processes or co-creating inspiring ways to sell in the work
