Manager, FP&A

Wonder is hiring a Manager, FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis initiatives from our New York, NY office. This full-time role is central to our financial strategy, where you'll transform data into strategic insights that shape company-wide decisions and drive growth.

About the Role

You will serve as a trusted financial strategist within Wonder, owning the planning and forecasting process and partnering directly with leadership to optimize resource allocation and identify opportunities for growth. This is a hands-on role combining advanced financial analysis, modeling, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our organization makes informed, data-driven decisions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, multi-year forecasts, and annual budgets that support strategic initiatives
• Lead analysis of financial performance, investigate variances, and present findings and recommendations to executive leadership
• Create dashboards, reports, and executive summaries that translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
• Oversee budget management cycles, gather data from cross-functional teams, and validate forecast accuracy
• Support strategic projects including scenario planning, profitability analysis, and resource optimization studies
• Identify financial trends, emerging risks, and business opportunities through rigorous data analysis
• Partner with finance, operations, and business teams to ensure alignment between financial plans and operational realities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of financial planning, analysis, accounting, or related professional experience
• 2+ years in a manager, lead, or senior individual contributor role
• Expert-level Excel skills and hands-on experience building financial models
• Strong command of accounting principles, financial statements, and reporting standards
• Excellent analytical mindset with proven ability to translate data into strategic recommendations
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to present financial concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
