Account Lead Influencer Marketing & Brand Strategy (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading international influencer marketing agency with offices across Europe and the Middle East. Our client works with top-tier brands in beauty, fashion, luxury, lifestyle, and tech, and is currently in an exciting growth phase in Germany.

We're seeking an Account Lead for Influencer Marketing & Brand Strategy to take ownership of major international client accounts. This is a role for someone who wants to shape strategy, lead teams, and drive real business impact—not just execute briefs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple high-value international client accounts as the strategic point of contact at senior level
• Develop annual influencer strategies and major campaign concepts that align with client business and marketing objectives
• Identify business development opportunities, expand existing relationships, and create new revenue streams before clients ask
• Lead large pitches and strategic presentations, developing compelling narratives with specialist teams
• Manage and develop your own account team, setting standards and empowering team members to grow beyond their current capabilities
• Connect accounts with specialists across strategy, creative, events, social, paid media, and scaled campaigns to deliver integrated solutions
• Oversee budgets, resources, forecasts, and profitability across your portfolio with entrepreneurial accountability
• Ensure quality standards across strategy, creative execution, and results delivery
• Contribute to agency development by bringing new ideas and challenging existing approaches

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in influencer marketing on agency or brand side
• Deep understanding of the creator ecosystem, platform mechanics, and industry dynamics
• Proven track record managing large client accounts and ideally seven-figure budgets
• Experience developing strategic recommendations and presenting to senior-level stakeholders
• Previous team leadership experience with ability to set clear expectations and develop talent
• Strong business development skills—you can identify opportunities and grow accounts beyond the initial brief
• Platform expertise across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube including formats, mechanics, and benchmarks
• Ability to translate business goals into actionable influencer strategies
• Experience leading pitches and developing persuasive strategic narratives
• Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort making decisions and taking accountability for results
• German language fluency required (role is based in Munich)
• Passion for the influencer marketing industry and desire to shape its future direction

Pay
