Head of Marketing

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial AI client seeking a Head of Marketing to join their team in Munich. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a marketing function from scratch and define how an emerging technology category is understood in the market.

You'll work directly with leadership to craft positioning, launch demand generation programs, and establish the foundation for future team growth. This role offers full-stack ownership — from narrative development to performance marketing execution.

Responsibilities

• Own positioning and messaging across all customer-facing channels
• Build and execute go-to-market strategy across digital, content, events, and partnerships
• Design and run demand generation and account-based marketing programs that drive revenue
• Create high-impact content, case studies, and thought leadership materials
• Establish marketing metrics, reporting cadence, and operational processes
• Build and lead the marketing team as the function scales over time

What We're Looking For

• 5–10 years of experience in B2B SaaS or deep-tech marketing, ideally with enterprise or industrial customer exposure
• Full-stack capabilities: strong at both narrative/positioning and performance/demand execution
• Proven track record building marketing foundations from zero, not just optimizing existing systems
• Comfortable working directly with founders and sales teams to rapidly test and iterate messaging
• Ability to transition from hands-on execution to team leadership as the organization grows
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or technical B2B environments is a strong plus
