About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Director of Strategic Operations to serve as a critical partner to their executive leadership team. This high-impact role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring that organizational priorities translate into measurable results. You'll work in a hybrid capacity from Frankfurt am Main, creating the operating rhythm and governance structures that enable leadership effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Design and continuously refine the leadership operating system, including executive meetings, leadership forums, and strategic planning sessions
• Drive agenda development, decision tracking, and accountability across the executive team, ensuring clear ownership and timely escalation of dependencies and risks
• Lead annual planning processes in partnership with Finance, translating company-wide goals into functional plans with measurable targets
• Monitor strategic initiatives and value creation programs across the organization, providing visibility on progress, milestones, and execution risks
• Enhance CEO effectiveness through meeting preparation, stakeholder engagement support, strategic discussion facilitation, and executive communications
• Coordinate high-quality materials and reporting for Board of Directors and private equity sponsor interactions
• Strengthen organizational alignment through clear messaging, priority visibility, and implementation of efficient, AI-enabled operating practices

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in business operations, executive office, transformation, program management, management consulting, Chief of Staff, or similar leadership-adjacent roles
• Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional initiatives and collaborating closely with executive leadership teams
• Exceptional planning, organizational, and program management capabilities with disciplined follow-through and strong execution orientation
• Strategic judgment and ability to quickly understand business priorities, connect strategy to execution, and influence without formal authority
• Financial and analytical fluency, including comfort with financial models, KPI reporting, and board-level materials
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex information into clear, decision-ready executive presentations
• Fluent English communication skills
• High ownership mindset and sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in SaaS, software, or technology environments
• Background with Board reporting, private equity governance, or sponsor engagement
• German language proficiency
• Experience implementing AI-enabled productivity tools and efficient leadership operating rhythms
