About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential electric mobility technology client in Munich, Germany. They are seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join their hardware development team working on high-reliability electric powertrain systems. This is a hands-on role where you will own the complete PCBA development cycle for battery management systems and charging platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical system architecture and validate electric powertrain components
  • Execute full PCBA development cycles including design, manufacturing coordination, bring-up, verification, and validation
  • Create schematic designs for battery management systems and charger updates, including bug fixes
  • Design combined testing platforms and battery simulation testbenches
  • Define and execute subsystem-level test plans
  • Collaborate with firmware engineering teams throughout all development processes
  • Supervise final PCB implementation for BMS and charging systems
  • Define systems and component requirements in partnership with project management

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Minimum three years of professional experience in electronics design
  • Proven PCB design experience (required)
  • Hands-on electronic lab environment experience (required)
  • Solid understanding of power electronics systems
  • Familiarity with embedded firmware infrastructure
  • Experience with compliance testing and EMC
  • Structured approach to work with project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • German language skills are welcomed but not required
  • Ability to work on-site in Munich, Germany
