Our client specializes in luxury off-premises events and is seeking a skilled Catering Event Specialist to join their growing team. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for exceptional culinary experiences.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage catering events from initial inquiry through execution
- Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences
- Support the catering sales process and maintain client relationships
- Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery
- Manage event timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site logistics
- Maintain knowledge of current market trends in the Los Angeles catering and events industry
What We're Looking For
- Event or venue experience required
- Catering sales experience strongly preferred
- Luxury brand catering experience is a significant plus
- Knowledge of the Los Angeles catering and events market
- Genuine passion for food and hospitality
- Must be located close to Alondra Park/Torrance area—long commutes are not ideal for this fast-paced role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as events require
