Solution Architect – DACH

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Solution Architect to join their team in Berlin. Our client operates a leading customer engagement platform trusted by global brands across retail, automotive, finance, and hospitality sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge marketing technology and drive technical implementations for enterprise customers across the DACH region.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with customer technical decision-makers and influencers, utilizing information on customer business, industry needs, competitive landscape, and key priorities to support digital transformation initiatives
• Conduct data workshops to build implementation plans that align with customer business goals and technical environments
• Drive pilots and proofs of concept, moving customers forward from pilot phases to productive deployments by demonstrating measurable business impact
• Troubleshoot technical issues reported by customers during implementation and ongoing campaign deployment processes, providing effective solutions
• Identify, escalate, and resolve technical blockers including configuration changes and sample coding to accelerate architecture implementations
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to remediate blockers by clearly conveying customer impact
• Leverage best practices to guide customer strategy and future growth, cultivating strong customer relationships that drive meaningful outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in consultative or complex technical deployment projects, including architecture, design, implementation, and support of highly distributed applications
• Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or strategic accounts
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful customer project implementation
• Extensive technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
• Familiarity or strong working knowledge of development technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, REST, XML, and database technologies
• Strong technical domain knowledge in one or more of the following: SaaS, Marketing Technology, Mobile Applications, APIs, or Programming
• Strong communication skills in both English and German
