Senior Consultant/Manager Business Strategy (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology platform operating in the customer experience sector. Our client has built a disruptive model combining AI automation with a global network of professionals, serving over 150 customers worldwide with significant annual revenue. They are now expanding their Business Strategy team at their Munich headquarters.

This is a rare opportunity to work directly with former consultants from top-tier firms on strategic initiatives that drive real operational change. Unlike traditional consulting where deliverables end up archived, you'll see your work implemented and measure its actual business impact.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of strategic projects with direct visibility to the leadership team, from initial analysis through to operational implementation and results tracking
• Analyze existing operational processes, identify efficiency and quality improvement levers, and implement concrete enhancement measures across the organization
• Conduct in-depth data analyses, derive clear recommendations, and prepare decision materials for executive leadership
• Present findings and recommendations convincingly to both internal stakeholders and external audiences
• Support due diligence activities, build financial models, and contribute to post-merger integration efforts as needed
• Lead cross-functional initiatives on strategically critical topics that directly impact business performance
• Work closely with the Head of Strategy and senior leadership on the company's core strategic priorities

What We're Looking For

• Outstanding degree in a technical or management-oriented field from a renowned university
• At least 4 years of experience at a top-tier management consultancy (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or equivalent) at engagement manager or project lead level or above
• Proven track record of independently leading teams and taking full ownership of strategic and operational projects
• Strong ability to structure complex topics clearly and think in a data-driven, hypothesis-led manner
• Deep analytical understanding of operational processes combined with strategic vision and hands-on mentality
• Executive presence with confident communication style; genuine team player without ego
• Fluency in both German and English (minimum C1 level in both languages)
• Solid experience in M&A and integration processes, including due diligence, financial modeling, and post-merger integration
• Background in the tech or SaaS industry is highly valued
• Experience with change management projects is a strong plus
