Key Account Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential health insurance organization seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their Public Sector team. Our client is building innovative prevention-focused insurance solutions and currently serves a significant portfolio of enterprise clients across France.

This role focuses on managing strategic accounts within the Public Sector, including government ministries and public entities. You'll work with a talented team of account management professionals who move quickly and take ownership of complex client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of strategic Public Sector accounts, ensuring retention and growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level stakeholders and decision-makers
• Take a customer-centric approach to identify needs and help clients achieve their organizational goals
• Proactively identify potential dissatisfaction signals and implement solutions
• Lead successful onboarding processes for new accounts and drive adoption across employee and admin users
• Analyze consumption data and present insights through regular business reviews
• Develop and execute creative engagement initiatives for existing customers
• Negotiate contract renewals to bGet A Job.aice customer value and sustainable profitability
• Serve as the voice of customers when collaborating with product teams on service evolution

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a customer-facing role with frequent C-level interactions
• Full working proficiency in French (excellent oral and written communication)
• Advanced level English proficiency
• Experience managing relationships with very large organizations and potentially unions
• Strong negotiation skills with tact and empathy
• Expertise in stakeholder management and building trust-based, long-term relationships
• Highly analytical mindset with comfort presenting complex data analysis to clients
• Excellent active listening skills and ability to craft effective follow-up communications
• Growth mindset with ability to adapt and develop deep market understanding
• Currently based in or willing to relocate to Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, or Annecy
• Previous experience in insurance or employee benefits is a plus
• Prior experience working with or within the Public Sector is advantageous
