Marketing Lead – Public Sector

Responsibilities

We are representing a global consulting firm seeking a Marketing Lead to support their Public Sector practice in London. In this role, you will:

• Partner with executive sponsors and sector leadership to shape and deliver strategic marketing plans that advance business priorities and drive measurable commercial impact
• Lead end-to-end delivery of campaign and event programmes, ensuring high-quality execution and measurable results
• Build a strong understanding of client challenges, market trends, competitor activity, and sector capabilities to refine messaging, targeting, and segmentation
• Manage in-sector marketing team members where applicable, providing coaching, development, and day-to-day support
• Champion consistency, collaboration, and efficiency by working closely with fellow marketing business partners and the wider team
• Lead the creation of compelling messaging and visuals that clearly differentiate our client in the market, leveraging thought leadership, client success stories, and insight-driven narratives
• Own the sector marketing budget, ensuring responsible management, cost control, and ongoing value-for-money improvements
• Bring the sector strategy to life across the business, building alignment and advocacy for campaign activity

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking a candidate with:

• Proven track record in shaping marketing strategy and selecting appropriate tactics to drive business forward and increase customer engagement and sales; expertise with the full multichannel mix and strategic marketing experience in a B2B environment
• Experience in professional services marketing, with a focus on Public Sector or Government clients
• Expert relationship building and network creation skills, both internally and with external parties; ability to work across all levels with impact, effectiveness, and influence
• Background in Business Development, Account Growth, and relationship management (advantageous)
• Proactive approach to pre-empting, identifying, resolving, and escalating issues; self-sufficient, self-starter mindset
• Degree-level education or equivalent; CIM Diploma qualification or equivalent (desirable)
