About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential creative agency in London seeking a Senior Producer to lead production projects and client relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of projects totalling approximately £1-£1.5M annually, ensuring the best creative solutions are achieved efficiently and profitably while managing client expectations. You will serve as the go-to production expert, building and nurturing relationships with key industry players, and producing large-scale productions on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the creative team to deliver the best creative solutions against client briefs, motivating colleagues and clients to earn their trust and confidence
- Run and manage multiple projects in the studio, taking responsibility for allocation, planning, forecasting, and ensuring projects are set up for success from the outset
- Serve as the key point of contact for all third parties related to the production process
- Create a presence within the industry to ensure talent are keen to collaborate, acting as the escalation point for production queries or issues
- Manage production project budgets and timings, delivering on time and to budget while maintaining agreed project margins
- Think creatively and fluidly when providing solutions, escalating issues to senior leadership when needed
- Support larger or more complex projects to ensure all aspects of day-to-day execution are efficient and effective
- Work with resource and creative teams to ensure the right team and timeline are in place, balancing profitability with creative process
- Accurately scope, plan and deliver projects, working closely with finance teams to ensure budget adherence
- Set and manage production budgets, providing weekly project status and cost reporting
- Forecast production workflow for the upcoming quarter, highlighting potential overruns and proactively working to reduce them
- Conduct project wash-ups, sharing findings with the wider team and owning improved ways of working
- Build strong client relationships, maintaining regular contact and responding with speed to requests
- Support new business by writing proposals and casting appropriate teams
- Research and recommend third parties for concepts, creatively challenging in alignment with creative ambition and budget guidelines
- Ensure usage rights are agreed and manage extended usage negotiations
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of copyright legislation and usage rights
- Oversee image checks, crediting, picture quality, and reproduction for online and offline formats
- Source new talent and production partners, building and maintaining a production bank including photographers, directors, models, locations, studios, and suppliers
- Build strong relationships within the production industry with agents, production companies, photographers, set designers and stylists
- Manage commissioning of pre-existing assets from stock imagery to music, negotiating usage as necessary
- Collaborate with internal creative teams to present relevant decks to clients throughout the production process
