Personal Banker- Chester Springs Banking Office

Wsfsbank is seeking a Personal Banker to join our Chester Springs Banking Office in Downingtown, PA. This is a full-time position dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and building relationships with individuals and families seeking banking solutions.

What This Role Involves

As a Personal Banker at our Downingtown location, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to customers navigating their banking needs. You'll be responsible for welcoming clients, understanding their financial goals, and guiding them toward the right checking, savings, and investment products. Your role blends customer service with sales, creating an environment where customers feel confident in their financial choices while you help grow the bank's presence in the Chester Springs community.

Core Duties

• Greet and assist customers, assessing their banking and financial needs
• Open new checking, savings, and other deposit accounts
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and routine banking transactions
• Explain and recommend credit products, personal loans, and wealth management services
• Maintain accurate customer records and transaction documentation
• Address customer questions and resolve account concerns promptly
• Work toward personal and branch sales goals for new accounts and product adoption
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and Wsfsbank policies

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED; some college education or prior banking experience is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to quickly learn about financial products and explain them in clear, jargon-free language
• Comfort using computers and banking software systems
• Sales-oriented mindset with genuine interest in helping customers
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Reliability and professionalism in a customer-facing environment
• Availability to work the full-time schedule required for this position
