Newsletter Content Designer (m/w/d)

Overview

Our talent team is representing a confidential digital marketing agency in Düsseldorf that specializes in email campaigns for e-commerce clients. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Newsletter Content Designer who can combine copywriting and visual design to create complete email campaigns from brief to launch.

You'll own the entire newsletter process: reading client briefs, writing subject lines and body copy, selecting and adapting design blocks from an existing design system, adjusting visuals (sometimes with AI assistance), and preparing campaigns for client approval. You'll manage 30–40 brands simultaneously, learning each brand's voice and visual identity within weeks.

Responsibilities

• Build complete email newsletters independently: copy, layout, imagery, and structure
• Write compelling subject lines and persuasive body text tailored to each brand
• Adapt design components from a Figma-based system to match brand guidelines
• Use AI tools to support content creation and visual adjustments
• Manage workflows for multiple concurrent campaigns across dozens of brands
• Submit finished newsletters for client approval and coordinate delivery
• Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance data

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in marketing, content creation, or digital campaign work
• Strong instinct for both written copy and visual presentation
• Ability to learn new tools and platforms rapidly (days, not weeks)
• Comfortable working with AI tools as part of your daily workflow
• High output capacity and attention to quality under tight timelines
• Ownership mindset: you want to see a project through from start to finish
• Full-time availability for on-site work in Düsseldorf
• German language proficiency required for copywriting

Not required: Figma experience, newsletter platform expertise, or formal design training. We prioritize taste, speed, and drive—we'll teach the rest.
