What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain MRI imaging equipment according to established protocols and safety standards
- Position patients safely and comfortably, explaining procedures and addressing concerns throughout imaging studies
- Acquire diagnostic-quality MRI images using appropriate techniques and sequences for various clinical applications
- Monitor patient wellbeing during procedures and respond promptly to safety concerns
- Maintain detailed records of imaging studies and communicate relevant findings to radiologists and referring physicians
- Follow all radiation safety protocols and ensure compliance with federal regulations and institutional guidelines
- Collaborate with the radiology team to optimize workflow and support continuous quality improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Current ARRT (American Registry for Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated knowledge of MRI physics, safety protocols, and imaging techniques
- Strong ability to communicate clearly with patients and medical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Detail-oriented approach to quality assurance and accuracy in imaging documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic imaging team
