About the Role

The Food Security Cluster - Sector Coordination position sits at the intersection of humanitarian response and development work. You'll serve as a key liaison across WFP, partner organizations, and government agencies, ensuring coordinated, effective action on food security challenges. This role demands strong facilitation and analytical skills, combined with deep understanding of the humanitarian response landscape in Central Africa.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate food security and livelihood activities across multiple humanitarian organizations operating in the cluster
• Facilitate regular cluster meetings and strategic planning sessions with partner agencies and government representatives
• Collect, analyze, and disseminate food security data and assessments to inform coordinated programming
• Monitor implementation of cluster activities and track progress against agreed priorities
• Develop and maintain coordination tools, standards, and operational frameworks
• Represent the cluster in inter-sector coordination forums and contribute to broader emergency response strategies
• Support capacity-building efforts across partner organizations on food security best practices

What You Bring

• Advanced degree in humanitarian affairs, development, international relations, or a related field
• Proven experience in humanitarian coordination, cluster management, or multi-agency program delivery
• Demonstrated expertise in food security programming and analysis
• Strong communication and facilitation skills in French and English
• Experience working in complex emergencies or sub-Saharan African contexts
• Proficiency with coordination platforms, data systems, and MS Office
• Ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries in high-pressure environments
