Role Overview

As a Team Supervisor (Overnights) at Wawa, you'll be the leader on duty during night shift operations, overseeing a dynamic team and maintaining the standards that make Wawa a trusted choice for customers. Your role is to keep the store running smoothly, ensure team members are equipped to deliver great service, and respond effectively to the unique challenges of overnight retail operations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and coach overnight shift team members to achieve operational excellence
• Monitor food quality, preparation standards, and food safety protocols throughout the shift
• Handle cash, process transactions, and manage point-of-sale operations with accuracy
• Restock shelves, maintain merchandise displays, and organize inventory
• Ensure the store is clean, safe, and well-maintained according to company standards
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and care
• Train and develop team members on procedures, products, and customer service excellence
• Complete opening or closing procedures as assigned, including equipment checks and security
• Communicate shift updates, concerns, and performance metrics to store management
• Follow all safety, health, and compliance regulations to protect the team and customers

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail, food service, or hospitality supervision or leadership
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
• Reliable and available for consistent overnight shift scheduling
• Comfortable with cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and basic math
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
