Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential creative agency with an international footprint. As Accountant (30h/week), you will support day-to-day finance operations and work closely with the Finance Manager and external accounting partners.
Your responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial administration
- Process, verify and organise incoming and outgoing invoices with accurate project and entity allocation
- Maintain accurate financial records across accounting and ERP systems
- Prepare bookkeeping documentation and support monthly closing and reconciliation processes
- Coordinate payment runs, recurring expenses and subscriptions
- Liaise with external accountants and tax advisors across international entities
- Identify discrepancies and support the Finance Manager with reporting and daily finance tasks
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a similar finance role
- Solid experience with German accounting and financial processes
- Hands-on experience with DATEV and ERP/accounting systems
- Good understanding of German bookkeeping principles
- Experience with invoice processing, reconciliations, accounts payable and general accounting
- Strong attention to detail and structured, organised working style
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of recurring financial processes
- Experience with multiple entities or international businesses is a plus
- Professional working proficiency in German (B2 or above)
- Excellent English, both written and spoken
- Pragmatic, hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
