Junior Marketplace Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization in their search for a Junior Marketplace Manager. Our client operates in the sustainable products sector and is looking for a detail-oriented professional to drive their presence across major online marketplaces. This is a fully remote position based in Germany, offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on marketplace performance and growth.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain product listings across multiple online marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, and emerging platforms
• Develop and optimize product content including SEO-optimized titles, bullet points, product descriptions, and enhanced content
• Keep product data, variants, pricing, and product information current and accurate
• Monitor key performance indicators including account health, buy box status, availability, and inventory levels
• Open and independently follow up on marketplace support cases, such as blocked listings or content errors
• Implement marketplace-specific content requirements and adjustments
• Create reports on sales, rankings, and performance metrics
• Collaborate closely with PPC/advertising, graphic design, content, and supply chain teams

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a comparable field
• Initial experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, or online marketing (ideally)
• Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central or other marketplace platforms is a strong plus
• Meticulous, structured work approach with the ability to manage large volumes of product data
• Strong understanding of digital processes, data management, and e-commerce dynamics
• Proficiency with Excel and other Office applications
• Excellent German language skills (required for this role)
• Self-directed, solution-oriented mindset with high willingness to learn
• Enthusiasm for building and optimizing marketplace presence
