Account Executive – DACH (Earn Up to €100K OTE)

About This Role

We are representing a confidential industrial technology client in their search for an Account Executive - DACH based in Berlin. This is a high-impact sales role within a rapidly scaling organization that leverages AI and technology to transform how industrial materials are sourced and distributed across European markets.

Our client operates at significant scale, with established operations across multiple European countries and backing from leading institutional investors. They are seeking a driven sales professional to build and grow a client portfolio in the DACH region.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop your own client portfolio by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within your assigned market
• Proactively qualify new leads through daily outbound calls, follow-ups, and consistent pipeline management
• Engage in conversations with potential and existing clients, guiding them through the sales process
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships
• Work closely with the technology team to provide feedback on platform functionality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with both buyers and suppliers to address issues, inquiries, or challenges during the trading process
• Monitor your performance against monthly targets and KPIs, taking ownership of revenue growth within your portfolio
• Stay informed about market trends, product demand, and industry dynamics to make informed decisions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
• Prior experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Account Management
• Excellent German language skills (required for this market)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Basic understanding of national and international trade and supply chain management is a plus

Pay

This position offers an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of up to €100,000, consisting of a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission. Top performers have the opportunity to significantly exceed OTE through a transparent, performance-driven bonus structure.
