Management Berater:in – AI & Data / Tech Modernisation (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential management consulting organization seeking an AI & Data / Tech Modernisation Consultant to deliver measurable results for high-stakes client engagements.

Business Management Consulting:

• Play a key role optimizing client business operations while designing forward-thinking AI strategies that sustainably improve competitive positioning
• Translate complex business problems into actionable technology concepts and present key insights and solutions at management level

Data and Technology:

• Extract, process, and analyze data from a variety of structured and unstructured enterprise sources, third-party providers, and publicly available datasets
• Utilize cloud data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar tools to process and analyze complex, large-scale datasets
• Design multi-stage data pipelines that combine script-driven transformations and API calls to various services
• Leverage cloud products and solutions via APIs, particularly MS Azure and AWS

Data Science:

• Deploy Python or R to analyze and model complex and extensive datasets
• Develop and apply models for clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection, natural language processing, or GenAI
• Create AI models, algorithms, and applications, integrating developed AI solutions into existing business processes
• Design and implement reports and visualizations that present results clearly, concisely, and compellingly while aligning with business objectives and core analytical questions
• Communicate technical approaches, implementations, and results in an understandable manner to non-technical audiences

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional or consulting experience, ideally in management or IT consulting
• Problem-solving oriented, entrepreneurial, and highly analytical personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrable experience using data-driven analysis to develop strategies and improve business performance
• Deep expertise working with data and technologies, plus proficiency in one or more data-oriented programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
• Experience with general programming languages such as Java, C++, Rust, Go, or JavaScript is advantageous
• Excellent academic qualifications: Master's, Diploma, PhD, or comparable degree
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
• High willingness to travel – hybrid travel model with flexible location choice
• Work authorization enabling travel and work within the EU
