QAPI Coordinator

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a QAPI Coordinator to join their pharmacy services division. This is a remote, full-time position supporting quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives for a nationwide patient care operation.

As the successful candidate, you'll manage quality-related event reporting, monitor compliance standards, support regulatory adherence, and collaborate across departments to improve service quality and patient safety outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage quality-related event (QRE) reporting within the ticketing system, ensuring investigations are finalized and properly documented
• Collaborate with teams to confirm accuracy, completeness, and resolution of reported events
• Generate and distribute monthly QRE reports for stakeholders and clients
• Maintain adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory guidelines
• Partner with service line and department leaders to identify improvement opportunities and support training initiatives
• Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating performance improvement initiatives
• Generate quality and performance reports to internal stakeholders and clients
• Monitor referral source reports, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate and document monthly client communication reports
• Participate in QI meetings and maintain meeting minutes
• Support the development and updates of annual QI plans and programs

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of pharmacy experience
• Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with data interpretation and presenting findings

Preferred:

• Associate or bachelor's degree
• Experience in quality improvement or performance improvement in a healthcare setting
• Certifications such as CPHQ, CPPS, CPHRM, or Six Sigma

Position Details

This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. The role requires an average of 40 hours per week with occasional availability outside normal business hours. Travel may be required for organizational events, team meetings, conferences, and client engagements.
