Team Lead – Epic Willow Ambulatory

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Team Lead - Epic Willow Ambulatory to oversee a team of analysts responsible for coordination, training, and implementation of their ambulatory EHR systems. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position based in the United States.

In this role, you'll ensure applications are well-supported and implementations meet organizational standards. You'll work closely with end-users and IT management to develop and implement new features, coordinate training, troubleshoot issues, and resolve configuration challenges across clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, guide, and motivate direct reports through demonstration of best practices
• Supervise all aspects of day-to-day operations and support for Epic Willow Ambulatory applications
• Lead development and implementation of new features and enhancements for large-scale projects
• Identify user requirements, develop detailed interfaces, and plan system conversions
• Provide oversight and project management to a team of analysts
• Partner with assigned departments to recommend software solution options
• Coordinate training, troubleshooting, configuration, and error resolution for applications
• Ensure work assignments are completed according to established project timelines
• Negotiate and acquire resources necessary for appropriate project implementation
• Maintain careful monitoring of processes and organization of records

What We're Looking For

Required Education:

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Required Experience:

• At least 5 years of information systems experience as a senior clinical/business analyst or project manager

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
• Strong software and application knowledge; base knowledge of relevant healthcare technologies preferred
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology, technology, and clinical workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid understanding of business environment and operations
• Close attention to detail and ability to maintain organized systems of records
• Ability to identify complex problems, assess their impact, and bring them to complete resolution
• Strong customer service orientation with commitment to ongoing communication and follow-through
