About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential data resilience organization seeking a Senior Domain Engineering Specialist to join their team in Germany. This role sits at the intersection of security architecture and customer success, requiring both deep technical expertise and exceptional stakeholder management skills. You'll partner with customer success engineers and account teams to drive security outcomes, lead risk conversations with executive stakeholders, and optimize data protection posture across enterprise accounts.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers on security-related products, architectures, and risk topics across the platform
- Run readiness checks and lead data modeling to validate solution design and accelerate adoption decisions
- Monitor attack surfaces, vulnerabilities, and maturity scoring; track telemetry signals and report trends
- Validate designs to de-risk implementation and accelerate time to value
- Identify expansion opportunities by reviewing consumption trends and scheduling checkpoint reviews
- Engage CISO and CIO stakeholders for risk assessments, status updates, and strategic discussions
- Support account teams on security and AI-driven expansion initiatives
- Operate as a pooled resource covering Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts (typically $100K+ ARR) at a ratio of approximately 1:6–8 with customer success engineers
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in engineering architecture for cybersecurity-related products (Security Engineer/Architect, Cloud Solution Architect, MLOps/ML Engineer, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field; advanced degree is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
- Expertise in data security and governance, including DSPM/DLP concepts
- Familiarity with AI/ML architectures and their security implications
- Demonstrated ability to engage C-level stakeholders on risk, resilience, and modernization roadmaps
- Hands-on experience with solution design, POCs, telemetry monitoring, and maturity modeling
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Must be permanently located in Germany (remote work available within Germany only)
