Head of Production (m/f/x)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential creative agency in Berlin seeking a Head of Production to lead both strategic and operational development of their production capabilities.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and optimize production processes, standards, and operational setups across the organization
• Provide personal and professional leadership for the production team, supporting colleague development and maintaining quality standards
• Execute selected productions hands-on as a Producer, ensuring alignment of creative vision, quality, timing, and budget
• Conceptualize and implement an AI-enabled production system by selecting the appropriate technology stack and collaborating with internal AI specialists to determine optimal use cases
• Calculate fixed-price productions, protect margins, and strategically allocate budgets for maximum impact
• Build and manage a network of premium production partners, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure external collaborators meet quality expectations

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who brings:

• Proven experience producing social and connected TV content with comprehensive understanding of the production lifecycle from concept to final delivery
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing production teams, with the ability to provide effective direction, feedback, and quality oversight
• Strong understanding of how to build efficient and sustainable production processes, tools, and systems
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled production and post-production workflows
• Clear perspective on when to apply AI solutions, hybrid approaches, or traditional human-led production methods
• Structured working style with strong decision-making abilities and experience coordinating diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Location in Berlin with native-level German and professional fluency in English
