Global Communications Lead

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential AI technology company seeking a communications leader to shape their global narrative and external presence. In this hands-on role, you will:

• Develop and execute the global communications strategy for an emerging AI platform
• Build and maintain relationships with technology, business, and mainstream media outlets worldwide
• Create media angles and proactively secure high-quality press coverage
• Write and edit press releases, announcements, company updates, and executive communications
• Shape company messaging, positioning, and product narratives for public audiences
• Prepare executives for media interviews, conference appearances, and public speaking engagements
• Develop strategic communication plans for product launches, partnerships, and major company milestones
• Monitor media coverage and identify opportunities to strengthen brand perception
• Collaborate with product, recruiting, and leadership teams to ensure consistent external messaging
• Support crisis communications and reputation management as needed

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in PR, corporate communications, or media relations within technology companies
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex technical products in clear, compelling language
• Established relationships with technology and business journalists at major publications
• Track record managing communications for product launches or significant company announcements
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to develop compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences
• Comfort working directly with founders and senior leadership in a strategic advisory capacity
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment with minimal direction
• Meticulous attention to detail and consistently high standards for quality
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution skills
