Freelance Audio Contributor – Australian English

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AI technology company seeking native Australian English speakers to contribute to cutting-edge voice AI training projects. This freelance, project-based role is ideal for university students who want flexible work that fits around their studies while gaining hands-on experience in how modern AI systems learn human speech patterns.

This is fully remote work you can complete from anywhere with a quiet recording space. You'll be creating the foundational audio data that helps next-generation AI understand and generate natural human conversation.

Responsibilities

• Record natural two-speaker conversational audio from provided scripts and prompts designed for AI speech model training
• Maintain a spontaneous, authentic delivery to help AI systems learn real human dialogue patterns
• Ensure all recordings meet technical specifications: minimum 16kHz sample rate, clear audio quality, minimal background noise
• Produce audio files between 10 seconds and 1 minute in length
• Follow written guidelines precisely and meet batch delivery deadlines
• Manage file uploads and track submissions using basic spreadsheet tools

What We're Looking For

• Native Australian English speaker
• Access to a quiet recording environment and reliable headset or microphone
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Basic computer literacy including file management and data uploads
• Prior experience in transcription, voice work, or data annotation is helpful but not required
• Current university student preferred

Pay
