Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential 3D technology organization seeking a C++ Software Developer (Qt) on a remote contractor basis in Germany. In this role, you will design and develop modern desktop applications that streamline complex workflows and deliver responsive, intuitive user interfaces. You will optimize performance across platforms, apply your expertise in real-time graphics and interactive pipelines, and leverage your deep understanding of software design patterns and data structures. Your work will directly impact users across multiple industries, raising the bar for both productivity and user experience.
What We're Looking For
- Proven ability to write clean, well-structured C++ code with strong attention to detail
- Expertise in error handling, debugging tools and techniques, and defensive programming
- Demonstrated track record leveraging Qt 6 or later; proficiency in Qt Widgets and QML/Qt Quick is required
- Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative design methodologies
- Hands-on experience using CMake and scripting with Python
- Experience in game development, game engines, or game-engine-adjacent pipelines is a must
- Familiarity with 3D graphics concepts and APIs such as OpenGL
- Strong grasp of cross-platform compatibility and performance optimization
