Full Stack AI Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that is building next-generation AI solutions for clinical workflows. Our talent team is seeking a Full Stack AI Engineer to join a high-impact development team focused on agentic models and clinical intelligence systems.

This is a remote position based in the United States, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI applications within a small, focused team driving large-scale product impact.

Responsibilities

• Apply first-principles thinking to break down complex problems and deliver durable, scalable solutions
• Build end-to-end product experiences across the full stack—backend services, data pipelines, and frontend interfaces
• Develop and maintain cloud-native infrastructure including containerized microservices and orchestration pipelines
• Establish and continuously improve observability across systems and infrastructure at scale
• Collaborate closely with clinical domain experts and engineering teams to build highly scalable, clinically accurate systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues from alert through root cause analysis to prevention
• Drive improvements to system performance, reliability, and architecture

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of experience building production-quality code and infrastructure
• 3+ years working with large-scale distributed systems—microservices, event-driven architecture, or pipeline orchestration
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Proven full-stack development skills: backend services (Python, Node.js, or similar) and frontend (React, TypeScript, CSS)
• Experience with containerization, cloud-native deployment patterns, and scalable system architectures
• Strong debugging capabilities—ability to trace issues through multiple services, analyze logs, and resolve problems under pressure
• Demonstrated interest in generative AI advances with thoughtful perspectives on appropriate AI tool usage
• High ownership mentality and accountability for systems you build

Preferred:

• Background in healthcare, clinical data systems, or related domains
• Experience with pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster
• Familiarity with GCP data services including Firestore and BigQuery

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $175,000 – $200,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
