About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential DevSecOps technology organization seeking a Manager of Customer Success Managers for their EMEA region, based in Austria or Germany. This leadership role focuses on building and mentoring a high-performing team that drives customer adoption, retention, and expansion across the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Customer Success Managers to exceed growth and retention targets
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish team goals, responsibilities, and strategic direction
- Manage account health activities including onboarding, adoption milestones, executive business reviews, and renewals
- Ensure team members maintain excellence in technical knowledge, customer communication, and execution
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development guidance to direct reports
- Oversee resource planning, assignments, and recruitment as needed
- Drive process and tooling improvements to increase team efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Build senior-level relationships with customers and serve as an escalation point
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Professional Services teams
- Execute on organizational objectives and represent company values in all interactions
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in software/technology sales, consulting, or customer success roles
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and scaling customer success practices
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with cloud/container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker), application security (SAST, DAST), or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is advantageous
- Ability to develop strategies, translate them into actionable initiatives, and track delivery
- Experience managing global, distributed teams across cultures and geographies
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Operational excellence in analytical thinking, process improvement, problem-solving, and planning
- Experience working with senior executives (VP/CxO level)
- Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Ability to connect technology solutions with measurable business outcomes
- Strategic thinker with strong business and technical acumen
- Fluent German required
