Named Core Account Executive – Retail

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data analytics organization seeking a Named Core Account Executive to focus on the Retail vertical in Munich. In this role, you will:

• Take ownership of assigned strategic accounts, define clear account strategies, and drive execution to exceed revenue and consumption goals
• Execute with urgency and discipline to consistently overachieve quarterly and annual targets
• Build boardroom-level relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on data and AI strategy for senior stakeholders up to C-level
• Uncover and shape new business opportunities, expanding use cases and driving deeper platform adoption across your accounts
• Orchestrate internal teams and resources to maximize impact and deliver customer value
• Lead insight-driven negotiations and confidently close complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in complex enterprise sales environments
• Retail domain expertise strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success selling data, analytics, AI, or highly technical cloud software solutions through complex, multi-year enterprise sales cycles
• Ability to identify high-impact data and AI use cases and engage key buying centers within large organizations
• Strong understanding of consumption-based, land-and-expand sales models with proven ability to drive sustained growth within strategic accounts
• Experience creating and shaping demand, translating customer priorities into measurable business value
• Disciplined use of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, account planning, Value Selling, or Command of the Message
• Track record of building executive-level champions and cross-functional account teams
• Experience developing and executing partner strategies to accelerate deal velocity and support complex opportunities
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally to customer sites and industry events
• Fluency in both German and English with the credibility to engage and influence senior stakeholders up to C-level
