About This Role
We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency in Düsseldorf seeking an Art Director specializing in digital and social campaigns. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll own the complete creative process—from concept through execution—building high-performing campaigns with measurable impact.
You'll work at the intersection of design, copywriting, and AI-driven content creation, producing campaigns in rapid cycles and seeing results immediately through performance data.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy digital campaigns in Figma at high velocity
- Build visual identities using stock imagery, AI-generated assets via prompting, and compositing techniques
- Own both copy and design—complete creative control from ideation to delivery
- Work with AI tools as part of your standard creative workflow
- Iterate quickly based on performance feedback and campaign metrics
What We're Looking For
- Maker mindset: you ship work and get things done
- Strong aesthetic sensibility—you immediately recognize what works visually
- Extremely fast learner: you pick up new tools in days, not weeks
- High motivation and drive: you embrace feedback and improve continuously
- Comfortable working with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, image generation platforms)
- Willingness to work 100% on-site in Düsseldorf with the team
- German language proficiency required for this role
Not required: Prior experience with Figma, newsletter design, or formal design education. Our client values creative eye, speed, and attitude above credentials—they will train the right candidate on their tools and processes.
