React Engineer – Remote, Latin America

Our talent team is representing a confidential software consultancy seeking an experienced React Engineer to join their growing development practice. This remote role is based in Uruguay and offers the chance to work on diverse, high-impact client projects across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality React applications for enterprise clients
• Take ownership of features from conception through deployment and maintenance
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth application delivery
• Contribute to shared libraries and help establish development best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on project commitments
• Work through complex technical challenges on large-scale systems
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (5+ years preferred)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React in production environments
• Proven track record working on large, complex software systems
• Four-year college degree required
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
• Experience creating and maintaining continuous integration and delivery workflows
• Excellent problem-solving skills with forensic attention to detail
• Ability to take extreme ownership and deliver on commitments
• Positive, can-do attitude with strong communication skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work effectively in a remote setting
